SIBU: Shots have been fired at a bank on Jalan Lanang here, say police. Read full story SIBU: Shots have been fired at a bank on Jalan Lanang here, say police.Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Zulkifli Suhaili said a report was lodged about gunshots fired at a bank which shattered its glass door.He said according to witnesses, two men on a motorcycle were involved in the incident at around 3pm on Sunday (Feb 15)."One of them fired several shots before fleeing the scene," he said in a statement on Sunday, adding that no one was injuried in the incident.He said police recovered a shotgun and one round of live ammunition from the scene.ACP Zulkifli said the case is being investigated under Section 39 of the Arms Act 1960.He said investigations are ongoing to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the incident.He also urged those with information on the incident to contact the nearest police station.
